History of Big Bash League : –

The Big Bash League (BBL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Australia. It was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia, replacing the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The league features eight city-based franchises, instead of the six state teams which had previously competed in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The league is now one of the most popular T20 leagues in the world and it runs during the Australian summer, typically December to February.
